Hi, I'm Margarita Shamrakov! 🎹🎤

I'm a New York–based pianist, vocalist, songwriter, composer, producer, and passionate music educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. Through my teaching brand, Shamrakov Foundation, I help children, teens, and adults discover their creativity, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of music through piano, voice, songwriting, music theory, and creative expression.

As a graduate student in Music Education at Hunter College, a John Lennon Songwriting Award winner, and the creator of the rock opera Heavenly Music, I combine artistry, neuroscience, and evidence-based teaching strategies to make every lesson engaging, inspiring, and deeply personal. My students have performed at renowned New York venues, including Steinway Hall and Lincoln Center, while learning to understand music—not just play it.
